First, I want to thank all of you for supporting Hackers for Hope!  Your generosity and compassion allows Hackers to continue our mission to (1) enable intelligent and driven doctors to search for a cure for cancer and (2) assist people dealing with cancer.  As a Board member for the last 3 years and an active participant in Hackers for the last 4 years, I can assure you that we work hard to fulfill our mission.  For those of you who may not know, I was also involved in Hackers as a young man when I forecaddied for the original Hackers.

Second, this is the 31st year of Hackers!  Hackers has raised over $16 million and the money has been used for some many important projects and treatments. Like the past 4 years, I will play in honor of my dad, Gerry (pitcured above with my mom Carolyn), who passed away about 6½ years ago after a relatively short battle with cancer.  One of the beneficiaries of Hackers is Stamford Hospital, which is where my dad spent the last 2 months of his life.  I know how much the support of Hackers has helped the hospital.

Finally, I want to emphasize that every dollar counts and I know all of you have charity interests that are important to you.  I hope that the money you donate will be the money that finds a cure!
