As you know, but for the life-changing impact that Horizons had on a young girl recently arrived from Hong Kong, my life would be missing the people and moments I cherish most.

In my second year on the Horizons National Board, I was thrilled to accept the role of Co-Chair so that Horizons can continue to flourish. Founded over thirty years ago (by a group which included that girl from Hong Kong), Horizons National plays an essential role in scaling the Horizons network, as well as providing training, propagating best practices, and supporting fund raising for today’s 70 Horizon affiliates.

The need for Horizons’ program - a program which combines academic and recreational enrichment to low income students - is immense and urgent.  

The opportunity gap disadvantages far too many young students; Horizons National is committed to change that.  I hope that you will join me in making that change happen.  May 13th is Horizons’ Giving Day.  Any and every contribution - big or small - will make a difference and will be hugely appreciated.
