Horizons is a family. We are there for each other, particularly these past few years. 

Let's be clear, these kids are my kids. At Horizons, a student joins our program in Kindergarten and is with us through 8th grade and more than likely volunteers with us throughout their high school career and beyond. This year will be my 14th summer at Horizons and I have seen my first class enter high school. One constant for our students over the years has been their summer participating in enrichment activities including swimming, STEAM activities, field trips, and so much more. Our volunteers average three or more summers with us, too. We are tight-knit and committed to one another. 

These last few years has been difficult on everyone, especially nonprofits. We have all done our best to be resilient, but we need your help. While I can tell my students that we will have a Horizons program this summer, I need your help to make it the unforgettable summer they are hoping for- a summer with their peers having fun and learning new things, Can you help me make it happen? Will you help Horizons overcome the financial obstacles in our way? 

It means so much to me you read this far. These students and their families are my family, the Horizons family is my family. Let's be there for one another like we always have been. Let's have an unforgettable summer.
