About Our HVB Trip

What if every day you woke up not knowing if you'd be able to pay for rent or provide for your child? For many people across the nation, this is their reality—a high cost of living that has led to poverty housing because they believe that homeownership is unattainable. Living in poverty housing is people’s last resort to ensure there is a roof over their family’s head. However, healthy life starts within the home.

Poverty housing strikes families and individuals throughout their lives. It is an affordable housing crisis across the United States. In efforts to solve this crisis, the Hawaii Village Build program allows YOU to travel with a team and contribute your time and effort to eliminate poverty housing one state at a time, starting with Hawaii.

If you are interested in participating in the Hawaii Village Build trip to Maui, apply to save your spot today!

Can't travel at the moment? No worries, you can still support the cause. If you’re able, we’d love it if you could make a donation of just $10 to help us achieve our mission and solve this housing crisis. Thank you for your contribution. Your donation will go toward our trip costs, which includes insurance, lodging and accomodations.
