I am Frank this is my 3rd year joining TennGreen Land Conservancy’s Hike-a-Thon event to raise awareness, appreciation, and maybe some money, to support stewardship of our land and river systems.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The "Ponzio Paddlers" (including my 15 pound dog Willow) have "adopted" a section of the Harpeth River in Bellevue, TN, and we've picked up tens of thousands of pieces of litter from the river and riparian zones. Last year we removed over 100 tires from the Harpeth RIver! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Combining my love for paddling the river and hate of the river garbage is rewarding, and I figured this "Paddle-a-thon" event was a great opportunity to pledge my services. For every $16 donated through this fundraiser, I promise to locate, dig up, paddle out, and dispose of a tire that is currently trashing up the Harpeth River!
