Amy and I are supporting the annual Hike to Mt. McCoy on Saturday, October 17, benefiting the Samaritan Center of Simi Valley. While we won’t be able to join the hike in person this year, we invite you to join either in spirit or on the trail.

I’ve had the opportunity to serve on the Samaritan Center board and see firsthand the important work they do helping people in our community who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

The Samaritan Center provides essential drop-in services, including meals, showers, laundry, clothing and mail, but its work goes much further. Caseworkers help people navigate the path out of homelessness by connecting them with employment, mental health and other supportive services, and ultimately stable housing and greater independence. 

We’d be grateful for your support. Any amount helps, and together we can make a meaningful difference for people right here in Simi Valley.
