Join Kidsave's annual Hike With Your Heart and help create lifelong connections for older kids in foster care. Whether you lead a team and hike with friends, family, coworkers, or hike on your own, every dollar you raise helps more young people find caring adults and permanent families.
Spend the morning enjoying beautiful trails, meeting the Kidsave community, and making a meaningful difference one step at a time.
HOW IT WORKS:

- Adults: $40
- Children (ages 4–17): $15
- Children 3 and under: Free (does not include T-shirt or lunch)
- Set your fundraising goal
We suggest a goal between $500–$2,000, but every dollar makes an impact.
- Invite your team
Hike with friends, family, coworkers—or participate as an individual.
- Start fundraising
We'll create your personal fundraising page for you, making it easy to ask your network to support Kidsave's work connecting older kids in foster care with caring adults and adoptive families.

STARTING POINT: Los Gatos Creek Trail
9:30 AM: Meet at Los Gatos Veterans Memorial to register and collect your event t-shirt
10 AM: Walk to Main Street trailhead to hike 3.5 miles to Lexington and back down to Main Street starting point. Assorted sandwiches served with thanks by Purple Onion with refreshments afterwards. Bathrooms located at LG Library, Purple Onion, and mid-way near Lexington

Dogs are welcome - especially when sporting a chic Kidsave bandana! - but please use loving dog owner discretion. Please keep your dog on its leash at all times, and don’t forget to bring poop bags, just in case! If your dog gets overstimulated, overwhelmed, or nervous in new environments or around other dogs, it is probably best to leave them home where they will be more comfortable.
