Histio Athletic Club

The Community's Home Team

We're raising money for Histiocytosis Association!

Welcome to the Club!

Histio Athletic Club is rooted in community, bringing patients, survivors, families, friends, caregivers, and supporters together to move, raise awareness, and make an impact for histiocytic disorders.

Histiocytosis is a group of rare disorders involving histiocytes (immune cells) that normally help protect our bodies. When these cells don't behave as they should, they can cause inflammation and damage in different parts of the body. There are several histiocytic disorders, and every person's experience can look different.

We're taking on the Histio Blue Ribbon Run together to raise funds for the Histiocytosis Association and help fuel support, education, awareness, and progress for the Histio community.

Our club was founded by Nate Milam II, who is a survivor of HLH (hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis), a life-threatening disorder in which the immune system becomes dangerously overactive. You can learn more about his journey on his fundraisng page.

Whether Histio has affected you personally, someone you love, or you've simply decided to stand with this community, you belong in the club. Let's give them something to remember!
