In honor of Histio Hike Shenandoah, we're asking every registrant to raise at least $250 and each Team Captain to set a team goal. We encourage all participants to get creative in their fundraising efforts. Some ideas from prior years include:

• Place a link to your Team fundraising page on a Caringbridge or Care Page site, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or blog.

• Email your Team fundraising page to family and friends.

• Send hard copy brochures to those in their circle that prefer “real” mail.

• Host a local “practice hike” and have participants bring their donations or sell t-shirts with your Team name.

• Place a Histio Hike display and Team flyers at your local businesses and doctor’s office.

• Many local restaurants offer charity nights, where they will donate the proceeds from food sales to your charity. Get your favorite restaurant to sponsor a Histio Hike night!

• Are you the “go to” person in the family or your circle of friends for graphic design, photography, knitting, or some other skill? Instead of simply doing a favor, this year ask that they donate to the Hike on your behalf.

Become a Hike Ambassador

All participants who raise $250 by April 25^th will receive a Histio Hike Shenandoah pin.  

Become a Trail Blazer

All participants who raise $500 by April 25^th will receive a 13oz Histio Hike Shenandoah campfire mug. 

Become a Shenandoah All-Star

All participants who raise $1,000 by April 25^th will receive a light blue Histio Hike Shenadoah sweatshirt.
