I'm thrilled to be participating in Fueling Student Transformation, a fundraiser supporting Horizons at Greene Street Friends School (HGSF)! 

Horizons at GSF provides a joy of learning and whole-child approach to education to young people in the Germantown and Nicetown communities of Philadelphia!  

This is what we mean when we say: Whole Child, Whole Childhood.
We’re not just supporting who our students are today – we’re investing in their growth over time.

From early literacy development in the youngest years to more advanced learning and leadership opportunities as students get older, our approach evolves alongside each child. Along the way, we create an environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Students build connections that carry across years – and that consistency matters. It helps students build strong foundations, develop confidence, and stay connected to a community that supports their growth.

This Giving Day, we’re inviting you to support Horizons at Greene Street Friends School and the consistent, caring, and connected community it offers to our students throughout their childhoods. Join us on May 7th as we come together to raise $35,000 to continue supporting our students across their full journey!

Horizons is 100% donor funded, which means every meal, swim lesson, specials class, and field trip is made possible by the generosity of our community and every experience we provide is made possible by YOU.

• $50 sponsors a swim lesson!

• $100 provides one day of programming for one child!

• $500 brings a specials class (STEM, Art, Yoga, P.E.) to a week of programming!

• $1,000 offers nutritious meals for all students for one day!

• $3,500 sponsors one student for an entire year!
