Please show your support in this fight against a merciless killer we call cancer
It seems that the age at which our people are dying of cancer is getting younger and younger every year. This event isn't going to cure cancer, but the money that it raises might just fund the research that gets us a step closer. Who among us hasn't lost at least one loved one because there is not yet a cure for this disease? Who among us doesn't pray that we could discover more humane and effective treatments?
My wife lost her sister Alice (50) In Oct of 2015, and just in the last few days Matt lost Shelly (43) and my sister-in-law Maria lost her mom. My sister-in-law Susan lost her mom to cancer many years ago. This is a battle we can win if we remain strong and show support for events like these that raise not only funds for research, but awareness. Cancer doesn't play favorites, but it does play dirty. Together, we can wipe it out if we make a promise to never give up the fight. Won't you please show support for Team Shelly?
