Within the last few years I've lost both my mother and my father due to different types of cancer. After seeing the advertisement for the Promise Run I started thinking of ways to represent them and fight for them even though they are no longer here. But, they haven't been the only ones. Over the last 20 years I've lost many people I love, to cancer. I've lost so many I had to grab a piece of paper and actually sit down and make a list. This saddens me to no end. So, on February 27th 2016 I will be representing them all, each person who has lost their fight, and those still fighting I will carry them with me through this race. They are going to help carry me as well. ,
