My dear friend, Karen beth Schick, lost a short battle with cancer on Friday, February 5, 2016. I met Karen 2 years ago at Zumba class, and we have a whole group of Zumba friends from the class that have become very close. Hence, the Angels for Karen team has been formed in Karen's honor to walk in the Promise Run. Please support our efforts to raise funds for cancer awareness, so that Karen's passing will be a symbol of hope, and the miracle cure will be found, so that others will not have to suffer through this dreadful disease. Gone too soon, but she will never be forgotten!
