Welcome to my fundraising page for HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer! When you support the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance through registration or a donation to Paula's Power Pack, you help fund critical research and programming for women and families impacted by ovarian cancer.
As many of you know I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer on June 17, 2021. I had surgery, four rounds of chemo, lost my hair, eyelashes and most of my eyebrows. What I didn't lose was the love and support of so many of you! My heart was warmed by the donations, visits, calls, texts, cards, food and offers of help I received. I'm on my way to recovery, but over 50% of women diagnosed with this awful disease won't survive 5 years. There's much more research needed, with the goal of developing an early detection test, and your donation will help make that test a reality.
