Currently there are no tests for early detection of ovarian cancer. Usually, it's only when it reaches Stage 3 or 4 that signs and symptoms start to announce that something is very wrong with our bodies.  While a lot of ground has been covered in identifying the best treatment for ovarian cancer, there is still SO much more that needs to be discovered in the area of treatment.  For some, like me, the standard treatment protocol doesn't work so we enter the arena of "trying" the next chemo cocktail, and the next, and the next.  Clinical trials and other research is the key to advancing the treatment options for ovarian cancer patients like myself.  So, please donate to my fundraising team and/or register to join my team on the walk/run for ovarian cancer and help the researchers at the University of MN continue their very important work on my behalf and for too many other women in MN and the US, unfortunately.  Thank you so much for supporting this very important cause.  Together, we DO make a difference!!
