Why Walk?
More than half of the individuals served by Home of the Sparrow are children. Children experiencing homelessness, instability, and uncertainty right here in our community.
The Hope for Children Walk is more than just a walk. It’s a one-mile journey (four laps) around our headquarters, with each lap representing a critical part of that journey: Hope, Opportunity, Support, and Impact.
With every step, you’ll experience the path families take—from the moment hope begins, to gaining access to opportunity, to the support that surrounds them, and ultimately, the stability and brighter future your support makes possible.
When you walk, you’re not just raising funds—you’re helping children and families move from crisis to stability.
Together, we can change the story—one step, one lap, one family at a time.
