I’m the Southern Region Human Resources Assistant at a ACCO Engineered System in Pasadena and our company has partnered up with United Way a non- profit org since 1979 to help provide homes for our homeless neighbors. In addition they work with at-risk youths, helping them prepare for school success and advocate for their communities. United Way also partners up with 211, a nationwide service that connects people with help in their communities. What I like about working with these organizations is that any of us are able to utilize their services depending on our needs and qualifications. It’s a give and take situation!
