When a crisis is city-sized, we need a whole city to pitch in and their part. In memory of Wayne and of all those who have lost their lives on the streets of Los Angeles in the struggle of homelessness, I run. Please support this worthy cause however you can, whether it's pennies or paychecks, because every little bit helps, and we need every little bit.
Why we run
I work as community service director at Campbell Hall, a private school in Studio City, and I have gained and lost friends in Los Angeles because they were stuck out on the street without enough resources to support them, house them, keep them safe and healthy, and this injustice is all of our responsibility. Raising money, running a few miles, it's the very least one can do.
