There is not a person in Los Angeles who has not seen or been personally impacted by the crisis that is homelessness. At LAWA, we are working on a number of strategies to help support our unsheltered neighbors. Mayor Garcetti has stated that “homelessness is the greatest crisis that we face in our City,” and his administration is working diligently to build bridge housing and find permanent housing solutions for thousands of homeless men, women and children. Our county and state are also engaged in tackling this crisis.
Now, as Team LAWA, we have a chance to come together as a department to help end homelessness in Los Angeles.
