Walking for Joan

On November 3, 2021, Joan Ellison, one of my besties for over 40 years, died of ovarian cancer.

Joan was diagnosed in April 2015 with ovarian cancer and fought a valiant 6 1/2 year battle against various forms of cancer as it metastasized into different parts of her body.   There is not a single day that goes by that I don't think of Joan and curse the horrible disease that took her from her friends and family much too soon.

And on September 9th I get to do something about it!!!    On that day I will be walking as part of the "Joan's Journey" team in the Hom Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer Walk.    Please consider a donation to help me reach my goal of $2,000.   The money will support the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance, which funds critical research and programming for women and families impacted by ovarian cancer.
