Next Saturday, September 13th, I will be running the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer 5k Race in memory of my mom, Lynn Melody (Wilson) Johnson, and my mother-in-law, Carmen Lebron Zavaleta.
Even today in 2025, there is not a universal screening for ovarian cancer, so the work that MN Ovarian Cancer Alliance does to fund research, build awareness, and educate the public is essential for the health of all of us with ovaries.
