My mom's story

Welcome to my fundraising page for HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer! When you support the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance through registration or a donation to my HOM Teal Strides page, you help fund critical research and programming for women and families impacted by ovarian cancer. 

Please, donate today to help me make a difference against ovarian cancer, and consider joining me to walk and run against this disease on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Rosland Park in Edina! 

Thank you for making a difference with me. 

My mom, Helen Ann, fought ovarian cancer with courage and humor — even on the hardest days. She was the kind of person who made life brighter for everyone around her, especially the children she helped learn to read.

There is no test for ovarian cancer. That fact shaped our family’s journey, and it’s why I’m raising funds for MOCA. Their work in research and education gives families hope for earlier detection and better outcomes.

If you donate, you’re helping carry forward my mom’s legacy of kindness, learning, and fierce determination.
