Hope on the Slopes 2026

Hope on the Slopes is an exciting new winter event created to bring our community together for an evening of fun, connection, and impact. Teams of four will race down the tubing hill at Mount Ski Gull on specially covered queen-sized mattresses while raising funds to support Bridges of Hope’s programs. As the races, bonfires, live music, and festivities fill the slopes, every team and every gift helps ensure local families and individuals receive the food, stability, and shelter they need. Proceeds from the event support Operation Sandwich, Resource Connection Services, and The Bridge on 7th, helping us continue meeting neighbors where they are with hope and practical care. We are thrilled to launch this inaugural event and invite you to join us in making a difference for our community.

    • 5:45pm- Registration and Practice Runs Close
    • 6:00pm- Race Begins

When all races have finished, join us for the announcement of our race winners!

The event will take place "snow or shine." In the event of a weather cancellation, refunds are unable to be issued.

Teams of 4 people (18 years and older) will be racing down Mount Ski Gull's tubing hill in hopes to be the winner in one of the following categories:

  • Fastest Team
  • Best Costume
  • Most Funds Raised

Team entry is $400/team. Payment must be received by February 8th to be considered registered.Team fee is not due at the time of registration.

Raffle tickets will be available for cash purchase throughout the event. Local prizes will be showcased in the event tent, and you can enter for any item by placing your tickets into the matching prize boxes. Winners will be announced during the evening. Please note, there is not an ATM on site. The nearest ATM is located at Sunshine's Summerhouse or at Quarterdeck Resort.
