On October 19, 2018 Leighton Elizabeth Miller came into our world silently and beautifully. She was everything we ever dreamed of and more. We were elated to be adding a daughter and ilttle sister for James to our family! She was perfect and healthy, and after an uncomplicated pregnancy we beyond shocked to learn her precious heart had stopped. The doctors determined that there was a true tight knot in her umbilical cord, and she had a double wrapped nuchal cord around her neck and once around her shoulders. Our hearts are shattered, and we want to always honor her always. We are running at Hope Still Lives to raise awareness and funding for the Star Legacy Foundation, which aims to prevent and end these unthinkable tradegies. We love Leighton!
