Hello! My name is Riya Patel and I am a HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) ambassador for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation from Stony Point High School. In the future, I seek to pursue a profession in Pediatric Oncology, so this particular fundraiser is close to my heart. 

Did you know that 43 children are diagnosed with cancer every day, and only 4% of all donations for cancer research go to developing medications to treat pediatric cancer? Unlike the majority of research which focuses on adult treatments, the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation is specifically designed to fund research to find less toxic, more targeted therapies for pediatric cancer.

Please join me to rise up for a faster cure to pediatric cancer. Your contribution, small or big, can play a vital role in a child’s life, and is greatly appreciated.
