Welcome to my personal fundraising page for HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer!  When you support the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) through a donation to my team (Wetzel's Warriors), you help fund critical research and programming for women and their families impacted by ovarian cancer. 

I was honored to have been elected to the MOCA Board of Directors in May 2015 (and re-elected in May 2018) and have been able to see firsthand (as Joy did when she was a Board member) the impact that MOCA has made in the fight against ovarian cancer in Minnesota.  I am also involved with Men of MOCA, an organization that provides support, volunteer opportunities and fund-raising activities for males who have been impacted by ovarian cancer.  Earlier this year, MOCA awarded $580,000 to researchers at the University of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic.  In addition, MOCA awarded $100,000 to national researchers seeking an early detection test.  Our total research awards to date is $9 million.  We would like our 2019 number to be even higher than this year's $680,000.
