Our Team Fundraising Page
I’m proud to support this year’s annual Food Bank of Northwest Indiana Hunger Hike, and I’m asking my colleagues to support this important cause as we come together to walk with purpose, fight hunger, and make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.
Hunger affects individuals and families right here in our communities—and its impact goes far beyond an empty plate. Food insecurity can directly affect the health and well-being of our patients and neighbors, making it more difficult to manage chronic conditions, recover from illness, afford medications, and meet other essential medical needs.
As healthcare and community leaders, we see firsthand that access to nutritious food is an important part of building a healthier community. The Hunger Hike brings people from across the Region together for one purpose: raising awareness and critical funds to help our neighbors facing food insecurity. There are two great ways you can help: walk or make a donation. Every walker helps raise awareness, and every donation—no matter the amount—helps strengthen hunger-relief efforts throughout our Region.
I hope you’ll join me on September 19 as we Walk With Purpose. Together, our steps can make a meaningful difference—not only in addressing hunger, but in supporting the health and well-being of the patients, families, and communities we serve.
Can’t walk? Please consider donating and supporting the cause.
