Having enough to eat makes everything else a little more manageable. That’s why I’m joining the First Presbyterian Church team for the 5K Hunger Walk and raising $1,500 for Westside Food Bank.
Westside Food Bank supplies free, healthy food to 60 local social service agencies. This helps our neighbors get the food they need while freeing up those agencies’ resources for other essential services, including job training, mental health care, and homelessness prevention.
Every $1 provides four meals. Together, we can turn my $1,500 goal into 6,000 meals for our neighbors.
