Please help me raise critical funding for the Israel Cancer Research Fund

Friends,

Almost a year ago, I had the privilege of traveling to Israel with the Israel Cancer Research Fund and seeing firsthand the extraordinary work being done by some of the world’s leading cancer researchers.

We met scientists in their laboratories and saw the innovation, determination and resilience behind their work. I came home more convinced than ever of the importance of investing in cancer research in Israel, where world-class scientists are doing groundbreaking work and our research dollars can go further and have an even greater impact.

And that investment is making a difference.

This year, ICRF announced $5.35 million in 38 new cancer research grants in Israel. Since its founding, ICRF has invested nearly $109 million in more than 3,000 grants—supporting discoveries that have advanced cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment around the world.

After visiting Israel, those numbers feel much more personal. I see the scientists we met, their passion for finding answers, and the incredible potential of the work we are helping make possible.

As Chair of ICRF Chicago, I’m proud of what our community has accomplished—and excited about what we can do next.

I hope you’ll join Amy and me at our 2026 ICRF Chicago Tower of Hope Gala on October 28. And if you can’t be with us that evening, I hope you’ll consider making a donation. Every contribution helps us put more resources directly behind the scientists and research that can change—and save—lives.

The answer to cancer is research. Together, we can help fund the answers.
