My Story

Serving with City Year was one of the most transformative experiences of my life and being on staff has shaped most of my professional identity.  I love this organization and its people. I love our mission and our belief in the power of young people. I love how we strive to make things better as we spread idealism into an otherwise, overly cynical world. 

This year is our 20th Anniversary year which means a fun celebration for all of us who have served. And with COVID-19 and our fundraising gala being cancelled, a reason to call on my friends and family to help support our work.  Whatever you're able and willing, I'm grateful!
