Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you for visiting this page and considering supporting Immigrant Family Services Institute (IFSI). As an employee at IFSI this year, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of IFSI's work on familiesĀ and their children.
For many of the most vulnerable families in Massachusetts, IFSI is a precious lifeline during an unprecedented crisis. While many other sources of support for the immigrant community have vanished, IFSI continues to meet the immediate needs of families, providing access to stability, basic services, and new life-changing opportunities.
This year, IFSI's work is more urgent than ever. On November 26th, the US government announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haiti. This humanitarian protection, which has allowed members of the Haitian community to live and work safely and with dignity in the US, is now set to end on February 4th 2026.
In the current political landscape, IFSI's work is more important than ever. Your financial support--no matter the level--will provide essential resources and help IFSI expand critical access to:
-
Shelter, medical care, and nutritional assistance for vulnerable families.
-
Legal and immigration services to navigate complex systems.
-
Workforce development and job training to achieve self-sufficiency.
-
Mental health support and family stabilization for those healing from trauma.
-
Music education and after-school programming for children.
-
Youth leadership opportunities that empower the next generation.
I hope that you will consider supporting IFSI in any way that feels appropriate, andĀ I wish you a truly blessed holiday season!
