Many people around the globe who share bathrooms, or even those who don’t, often forget to restock their toilet paper until the moment that they need it. Ideally, toilet paper would always be stocked and ready for use.

My innovation, Roll Patrol, is a sensor that is placed inside of the toilet paper roll and detects whether toilet paper is low. The sensing part then wirelessly communicates to a screen attached to the bathroom door, which gives the user a bright warning when the roll is low on paper, and a symbol reassuraance when there's enough to use.

If I were to keep developing my project, I would create a version for public and commercial restrooms, so that the janitor doesn't have to unlock each toilet paper dispenser in order to find out whether they need restocking. A simple indicating light on the outside of the stall would make their job much quicker and easier.

Your investment would both encourage me and help me develop my project. It would be an honor to see my invention in restrooms around the world. Thank you for seriously considering the potantial of Roll Patrol and supporting student innovators.
