In the transportation world, there are good drivers and there are bad drivers. Bad drivers cause accidents, traffic, and no fun. My idea is to place a train on the road to get a person from one place to another. Trains don't need to worry about other trains cutting into there lane or slowing down in front of them, so why not make it that simple for cars on roads.
Locomotive is a self-driving car that connects to other cars to reduce accidents and save gasoline. Drowsiness and addictions are the highest known cause for accidents. Human error is the top reason there are accidents on the road. Locomotive is driven by a computer, with sensors, cameras, and line following to take the bad drivers off the road.
