My Project is the solar grill. It is a cardboard grill that has a solar panel on the top of it it uses wires inside to heat it up. it has a heating element on the inside that it uses to heat up food.
This project helps provide a way to cook food without electricity or gas. It could help people in places with limited power access or during emergencies. It’s also environmentally friendly because it uses renewable energy from the sun.
The hardest part was getting enough heat from the solar panel to actually cook food. We had to make sure the wiring worked correctly and that the heating element got enough power. We tested different setups and adjusted the connections until it worked better.
I started over we would use stronger materials than cardboard and a more powerful solar panel to produce more heat. This would make the grill more effective and durable.
I’m most proud that we were able to make a sorta working grill powered by the sun. It shows that renewable energy can be used in practical ways.
With more time, we would improve the design by using better insulation, a stronger heating element, and a more efficient solar panel. We would also try to make it cook food faster and more evenly.
I was present at the morning showcase and I think it seemed like not that many people were interested in my project.
I was at the evening showcase and it seemed like the people there were a lot more invested and they actually payed attention to what I was saying so I think that went well.
