Greetings, my name is Nikolas Fernandez Cruz, and this year I was given the opportunity to be a part of this years FLA innovators. Throughout this year I worked on my project named Clear Breath; Clear Breath, (in theory) is a wrist band type sensor that senses when there is smoke and sounds a type of alarm. I made this project in hope of helping smokers quit by giving them something that can hold them accountable without needing someone else's help. The idea was that a smoker would wear this wrist band and anytime they would smoke the wrist band would detect it and go off, this would hopefully annoy the smoker so much that they would just choose to not be around it. This is just one of the many projects from this year's innovation program, if you found any potential in this project just wait till you see what my fellow innovators were able to pull off. None of this wouldve been possible without your help, and if we want to continue this program we'll need your help.
Here's how you can help your future innovators:
- Donate: Contribute whatever you can. Every dollar counts!
- Spread the Word: Share our fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!
Thank you so much for your support! We couldn’t do this without you!
