Stress and anxiety are becoming bigger problems for students and athletes every day. What if there was a simple way to notice stress levels before they became overwhelming?
My groupmate Isabella Clarke and I created PulsePal, a wristband that tracks your heart rate and alerts you on a screen if it gets too high. It also gives users calming suggestions to help them relax. The hardest part of building it was coding the pulse sensor because making it more sensitive also made it less reliable, so we tested different coding methods until it worked well.
With more support, we would continue improving PulsePal by making the design smaller, cleaner, and easier to use without restarting the code each time. Your investment helps us continue developing PulsePal and creating technology that supports student and athlete wellness. Even a small contribution can make a big difference. Thank you for believing in student innovation!
