I built articulated costume/cosplay wings designed for someone who has limited movement in their arms. The base of the wings can be any color, and there are servo motors on each joint of the wing that makes it look like the wing is spreading out.
This solves the problem of an inaccessible world. People with limited mobility can feel left out of activities such as cosplay and with CyberWings, it can help them feel included, and make their costume complete.
The hardest part was figuring out how to get the servo motors onto the actual base (it's still a problem). But a problem I did work through was the 3D printing. It took me a while to figure out how I want the base to look but once I added some modifications, it turned out well. I'm most proud of my code and my actual circuit because I would've never thought I would be able to make something like that work.
