Help Iris heal from emergency amputation

Iris was brought to Brother Wolf last week after being found in a warehouse with a life-threatening injury to her rear leg. Unfortunately, the injury was too severe to repair and her leg required an emergency amputation.

At first, we thought she was feral and worried about what the future would hold for a 3-legged cat whose safety would be compromised outside, but who was also too undersocialized to live a happy life indoors.

Once the surgery was over and she began to mend, however, we began to see that she’s not feral after all. She was just acting that way because she was so scared and in excruciating pain.
