I’m thrilled to be participating in Yogathon 2026 Presented by New Era Cap Foundation, a fundraiser supporting Mental Health Advocates of WNY! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help!   

I have struggled my whole life with anxiety and Bipolar Disorder, and found navigating the mental health landscape incredibly difficult and disheartening.  Even more so when I was young.   Learning how to find the correct providers and supports, retaining education on the importance of medication management, and the importance of noticing and voicing the presence side-effects was not something that was innately given. 

The MHA of WNY links peoole with mental illness to organizations to help them navigate the system and provide the education and follow up needed for people with mental illness to excell.   

Finally, and most importantly  MHA of WNY allows people with mental health issues to use their VOICE and to ADVOCATE for themselves.    That is why I am asking for your support.
