But in all seriousness, this event is helping raise money for young people in Junior Achievement (JA) who receive critical financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurial lessons delivered by business and community role models.
JA provides these programs at no cost to schools or families thanks to the generosity of donors, so when you make a gift you know that you are making a difference.
Students in JA receive the knowledge and tools that prepare them for a successful career and life. As a result of JA programs, they are more optimistic, driven, and engaged in their learning. Students from less fortunate backgrounds make leaps and bounds in their learning thanks to JA and gain role models they may not have otherwise had access to.
I am retiring early because I was the beneficiary of financial literacy education when I was young. Any amount you donate helps!
