I support Junior Achievement because they provide programs that are delivered to students in the classroom. JA programs focus on several different critically needed areas; STEM, building Leadership Skills, Uplifting At-Risk Communities, Work Readiness and Soft Skills, Business Ethics, College Readiness, Career and Technical Education (CTE), Industry Focus (Manufacturing/Health), and Financial Literacy.
Growing up in a small, blue-collar parish, I definitely needed everything that JA offers. And I like that they are local serving, the Greater Baton Rouge and Acadiana areas.
They are in my schools, they are in your schools, let's make sure they can stay there!
