I'm supporting Junior Achievement again this year by participating in the 2015 Central Washington JA Bowling Classic. The funds raised go directly towards providing JA programs to students at our local schools. Please help me support this great organization by sponsoring my efforts.

I continue to believe Junior Achievement is the best program in the Yakima Valley tackling financial literacy and getting young kids to understand how money management affects their lives.  Every year I volunteer with Junior Achievement and teach the Junior Achievement curriculum to 4th graders at Discovery Lab School.  I’m always amazed at how smart these kids are and how much they appreciate the interactive learning provided by Junior Achievement.  We start from getting to know what natural, human, and capital resources are and how they are used to create and sell products.  By the time we end our sessions the kids are ready to put all the knowledge they’ve gained by playing a fun game that brings all the concepts together.  I keep volunteering forJunior Achievement because I believe that if even one kid learns just a little bit more about being self-sufficient and is inspired to pursue his/her dreams then all the time spent on these efforts is worth it.
