Having grown up in poverty and watched as my parents struggled to meet the most basic of needs for our family, I know firsthand how CRUCIAL it is for students to be exposed to concepts like budgeting, savings, and planning for the future, as early as possible.
JA programs are brought to life by dedicated and caring volunteers from our local business communities, inspiring students to dream big and consider a variety of career pathways.
With 43% of adults in the US considered financially illiterate and 41% of parents reporting apprehension about talking to their kids about money due to their own insecurities and financial struggles, Junior Achievement is more important than ever!
