Event Description
INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE- As we kick off 2017-2018 school year we are also kicking off our fundraising for the year. Junior Achievement throughout the Coulee Region reaches 3,700 students, 201 programs, and more than 130 volunteers and 160 teachers. JA programs include lessons on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneuership. The mission of JA is to empower each of our youth to own their economic success.
"The highlight of each JA experience is always the engagment of my stduents in the lessons. My kids get so excited to particpate and learn so much! Jackie Goetsch, 2nd grade teacher.
To make this happen JA needs to raise $150,000 dollars to continue to expand and provide these essential programs. Every $25 dollars benefits 1 student, and $500 can sponsor an entire classroom. 90% of our donations go directly back into the program.
"It was exciting to see the students get creative and work together in creating their own businesses and hearing their ideas on how to give back at home, school and the community."
