This organization and their event are really important to me, and I’m working hard to support them. During my time in college, I volunteered my time to teach a Junior Achievement class to 5th graders for a semester. They learned the fundamentals about earning and spending money, basic financial literacy concepts, as well as gained insight into various occupations based on their interests. Ever since then, I've been passionate about giving my time to this organization. I'm lucky to work for a company that values corporate responsibility, and that is heavily involved in supporting Junior Achievement. My audit team and I are rallying together to raise money for our local Junior Achievement chapter, which we are actively involved in as a company (and audit team) by teaching "JA in a Day" each semester, which is a 1-day crash course of the Junior Achievement curriculum.
