Jerusalem Marathon 2020

This year’s race, held on March 20, 2020, is dedicated to Avi Karesh z”l, who had the opportunity to donate and save a life, as well as receive his own transplant through Gift of Life. In his short time, Avi showed our community that a small act of kindness and can have a big impact on this world.

We honor his dedication to chesed and good deeds by continuing in his footsteps. Avi’s nephew, Avery is this year’s team leader, sharing his uncle’s same passion and kindness, while studying this year in Israel. It is his goal to spread awareness, empower and raise funds to save more lives and change the world, just like his uncle.

We are the power of one. One swab is one potential life saved. It is $60 to process one kit, adding one more potential match to our registry.

It's because of people like you that every $60 raised will pay for the processing of a volunteer donor's swab kit, and make their matching information available to those seeking a lifesaving transplant.
