Now more than ever, food is a serious need in our region, where 1 in 10 individuals in Mercer County are hungry.
As Director of Development at JFCS, it's my responsibility every day to raise funds for all of JFCS' programs including the food distribution programs. Wheels for Meals is a peer to peer fundraisng event and I want to do my part to help us reach out goal.
Funds raised at this event go a long way to stocking the pantry shelves. We couldn't accomplish all we do without your generous support and the support of others like you in our community.

JFCS has seen a dramatic increase in demand for food programs over the past year, including:
- The on-site brick-and-mortar pantry distributing over 400 bags each month
- The Mobile Food Pantry supporting 1,400 households across 30 monthly stops
- More seniors turning to the Kosher Cafe and Kosher Meals on Wheels for supplemental meals
Event proceeds benefit all JFCS food distribution programs.
