Why I Ride, Walk and Raise Funds...
I've been riding bikes my whole life. Growing up in NYC, I remember my father taking me out to the parks when I was only 4 years old. I had my Thundercats shirt on, a helmet, and a pair of training wheels. As I grew, quick outings became weekend adventures in NJ, riding along trails and eventually in groups with his friends. It was a great experience that I wanted to share with my kids. So, when they were old enough to ride, I made sure to get them rolling. Both Lauren and Scarlett have been riding since they were 4 as well. We've gone on trails, backroads, and numerous fundraisers together.
I started riding with Madeline for JFCS over 5 years ago. It was a great way to spend extra time with my niece. As my girls grew, I added them to the fundraiser as well.
I love how I'm continuing the tradition that my father started with me. Riding is a great time with the family, and when you're riding for a cause, it's even better!
Now more than ever, food is a serious need in our region, where 1 in 10 individuals in Mercer County are hungry.
I am raising money to support JFCS food programs at the Annual Wheels for Meals bike ride fundraiser!

JFCS has seen a dramatic increase in demand for food programs over the past year, including:
- The on-site brick-and-mortar pantry distributing over 400 bags each month
- The Mobile Food Pantry supporting 1,400 households across 30 monthly stops
- More seniors turning to the Kosher Cafe and Kosher Meals on Wheels for supplemental meals
Event proceeds benefit all JFCS food distribution programs.
