REGISTRATION HAS NOW CLOSED!  If you would like to make a donation, we are still accepting donations to this event! Thank you!

__________________________________________________

Our Annual Turkey Trot 5K will be HYBRID this year! You can join us in person on Saturday, Nov 19th on the Larry Scott Trail, or join virtually the whole week of November 19th-27th!

You can create a team or enter as an individual and choose your own route (we'll give you some ideas, too). Or maybe you prefer to relax and support Jumping Mouse kids from the comfort of your own couch. Whether you are in Jefferson County, or participate from afar, let's come together to support children's mental health and Jumping Mouse Children's Center.

  • Virtual  Run/Walk 5K - $30
  • Virtual Run/Walk 5K (18 and under) - $15
  • In-Person Run/Walk - $30
  • In-Person Run/Walk (18 and under) - $15
  • I prefer my couch - $30 *For those supporters who want to participate but prefer to relax.

In-person registration has officially closed! You can still support teams and individuals through donations. If you are interested in running in the in-person race tomorrow, please come down to registration in the morning. Due to the overwhelming response to the Turkey Trot, this year, we cannot guarantee swag bags for day-of registration but we would love to see you on the trail! Thank you to everyone, participants, volunteers, and our sponsor, Kitsap Bank for an incredible event!

Here's how it works:

1) Sign up and choose your option: Virtual runner? In-Person? Relaxing from your couch? It all supports Jumping Mouse kids!

2) You can enter as an individual or as part of a team. And you can raise money on your own personal fundraising page to benefit Jumping Mouse kids.

3) Virtual participants can pick up their bib and goodie bag on November 17 or 18 or we can ship it to you. Choose your route and complete it during the week of Thanksgiving (November 19-27).

4) In- Person Participants will come join us on the Larry Scott Trail, Nov. 19th! Check-in and day of registration will open at 8 am at the trailhead in the Boat Haven.

Share your results with us with via social media by tagging us or using #trotforkids. (No social media page? Feel free to email your results to kimberley@jumpingmouse.org!)

Pane d'Amore Pies for the winners at the in-person race and one of our brand new Jumping Mouse sweat shirt for the virtual participant who raises the most money!

About Jumping Mouse Children's Center

Jumping Mouse transforms children’s lives by providing expressive mental health therapy for as long as necessary. We nurture each child’s healthy development and supportive relationships at home and in the community.

We see children ages two to twelve for a variety of reasons, most often when they have experienced emotional stress or trauma that has deeply affected them and their families. Some are grieving the loss of someone close to them; others have experienced domestic violence, abuse, or neglect. Sometimes, they are coping with changes in family structure, or a serious illness or medical problem. When these and other stressors affect a child’s ability to communicate, to attend school, or to relate to others, Jumping Mouse can help.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted children's mental health and there is a consistent need for Jumping Mouse services. With your help, no one is ever turned away for inability to pay.
