I have been involved in the Golf Marathon for Junior Achievement since it's inception - I think it has been about 20 years.  I believe that Junior Achievement is a very effective way to get financial literacy in front of our kids today.  So many areas that kids need knowledge on, they aren't receiving in the traditional education system.  I may not have enough days and hours to go and teach in a classroom, but by raising funds through the Golf Marathon, I can continue to do my part.
